Ken Johnson

Outside of his professional pursuits, he treasures time with his wife and family, and finds solace in exploring scenic routes from the Pacific Ocean and Monterey Bay, onto the Sierra Mountains and throughout the Western States. John has over thirty years of experience in business, executive, service, and technical leadership, spanning small and mid-sized businesses, start-ups, and large publicly held corporations. His roles have been diverse, ranging from business owner and engineer to manager, vice president, general manager, director, board member, and consultant. He has served various industries including professional services, manufacturing, high-tech, and construction, catering to crucial consumer, business, medical, and military markets. With engineering and supply chain responsibilities extending across the US, Asia, and Europe, John brings a global cross-functional perspective to his work. His professionalism, rich experience, and adept problem-solving skills have been instrumental in facilitating successful business acquisitions for small and mid-market businesses—an endeavor he takes great pleasure in. Hailing from California, John completed his high school education in Oregon before embarking on a career that included stints in logging, fishing, and construction. After earning his B.S.E.E., he delved into the semiconductor industry, amassing over three decades of experience in high tech, engineering, IT, supply chain, and general management. His transition to business advising and brokerage activities marked a new chapter in his career. John is a distinguished member of the California Association of Business Brokers (CABB), holding the esteemed CBB (Certified Business Broker) credential, and is also affiliated with the International Business Broker Association (IBBA).
