Broker Biography
Introduction
Alex Dvorak founded RFD Legacy Advisors after almost a decade as a top producer at one of the largest business brokerage firms in the country, built on a simple idea: business owners who spent years building something, and buyers taking on that next chapter, deserve an advisor who is fully committed to the outcome, not one more listing on a roster.
Alex found his entrepreneurial spark early, washing boats on the Mississippi River and working on his uncle's farm in Iowa. He moved to Denver in 2010 to attend the University of Denver, and Colorado has been home ever since. Today he lives there with his wife and their dog, and spends his time outside of work cooking, fly fishing, traveling, and gardening.
Most of RFD's clients come through referrals from CPAs, attorneys, financial advisors, and wealth managers, professionals who trust Alex with their clients' most important transaction.
Working with Alex means working directly with Alex. He does not hand clients off to junior brokers or assistants, and he does not outsource judgment to AI tools. From the first conversation to the final signature, one advisor is fully committed to the outcome, whether you are buying or selling.
The firm runs a methodical, eight-step process built to find the right fit for both sides of the table: a buyer and seller aligned on strategic goals, a smooth ownership transfer, and a company's legacy preserved. Many businesses that go to market never sell, and most owners who go it alone end up with the wrong buyer, a bad deal, or nothing at all after years of hard work. RFD's process is designed to change those odds: every buyer is qualified on capital, commitment, experience, and fit before the first meeting. Confidentiality is of the utmost importance throughout the process.
Entrepreneurs do not build their business overnight, and acquiring one is just as significant a decision. Both deserve the same grit, care, and intention. That is the standard RFD Legacy Advisors holds itself to on every engagement, regardless of deal size or industry.

Business Valuation: Every engagement starts with an honest, data-backed answer to what a business is actually worth, not a guess.
Buy-Side Representation: For qualified buyers looking to acquire an existing business, we help identify opportunities, evaluate fit and financials, and structure a deal that works for both sides of the table.
Deal Structuring & Negotiation: We build and negotiate terms designed to protect our client's interests and get transactions to a signed closing, not just a signed letter of intent.
Exit Planning: For owners who are a few years out from a sale, we help assess readiness, identify what will move the needle on value, and build a realistic timeline toward the right exit.
