Before founding Rock Royal, Roy established more than 35 years of experience in finance, investment management, and business advisory services with organizations including Goldman Sachs, Merrill, and Sunbelt Business Brokers; after an education at Princeton University. His background allows him to evaluate transactions from multiple perspectives—business owner, investor, lender, and buyer—bringing a level of financial sophistication and empathetic understanding of the parties involved.
Clients value Roy for his calm, analytical approach and his ability to navigate complex negotiations without losing sight of the people behind every transaction. He believes successful deals are built on preparation, thoughtful listening, and earning trust long before signatures are placed on closing documents. When not working, Roy enjoys pickleball, golf, hunting, and time, including traveling, with his wife, daughter, and son.
